Can someone post some information about Valentinos' new cigar friendly lounge?

I thought I posted something about Valention's the other day. They've taken the upstairs storage area and turned into an smoking lounge. It's got a great "men's club" vibe although you can still have dinner up there (and on the patio). I enjoyed the romm, service and the people but it was very noisy with a full house. It's like when Old Havana gets full, lot's of echoing (is that a word?) sounds that tend to blur the conversation and then it becomes a compitation to be heard over the other guy. For me I would enjoy a nice dinner downstairs and hit the lounge for an after dinner cocktail and a smoke. They have a small humi (in case you didn't come packing) with the usual CAO's and other brands. Nothing bad but it's all standard issue so if you want anything different or exciting after that special dinner bring your own.

Awesome! I'm pumped. I'm so sick of all the good places to eat not allowing smoking anymore - not always their fault, I know. I wonder how Valentinos is getting away with it.

The lounge is not part of the resturant. It has it's own entarence and that must make the difference.

I saw an ad in the Mar 4-10 Nashville Scene that there was an event on March 4.

I know it's in the past but this is a good sign for a future event.

They sent me an ad to post for that, but I sort of let it slide. I will try to make sure they are posted in the future, but they waited too close to the event.

We need to get together for a herf there sometime soon. I went there with Newbie the other week (BTW: where the hell did you go again Newb?) and the bartender remembered me and asked about you Tom. I think it will help us to keep a relationship with them when it comes to a bigger event or party. If any of you guys or gals want to do a weeknight herf there let me know.
