FYI, there are now going to be 2 El Triunfador lanceros. There will still be the original lancero with the broadleaf wrapper, and there will be a new one with the new blend. The rest of the vitolas are a completely new blend. I received a free pre-release El Triunfador robusto last month with an order from an online cigar retailer. It looked and smelled very new, so I'm letting it rest, but cannot wait to try it!

Going to be keeping my eyes open for these. Been a while since something new got my interest. Hopefully, it won't let me down.

I know some guys that got these through the same vendor earthson is mentioning. Everyone of them that smoked it was really disappointed with it. Most of them mentioned that it was really young, and some time may do it some good.

Yeah - I saw the cigar, immediately figured out that it was a pre-release, and then immediately decided to save it back for quite a few months. It smelled very new - almost sour and ammonia-ey; I thought that they aged pre-releases so that they wowed people? Either way, I've about forgotten about this guy until late spring or so...
