That was the word getting around when Pepin Garcia was down at Burns in Chattanooga, as well. That special stick rolled at the event is due to be released as a regular line stick eventually--and a great choice, too.
On the original question, I think my favorite of the DPG-branded sticks (I would include the My Fathers in that) is the Blue Label. They have a great flavor for a reasonable (though not cheap) price. The Black Label (Cuban Classic) I don't care for much at all. The Serie JJ (white label) I enjoyed, especially the Maduro version. I loved the My Father Le Bijou 1922, but the price is stronger than the cigar. On the regular My Fathers, I've only had a "Cedros Deluxe" with the cedar sheath around the bottom half. This imparted a very strong cedar flavor that was a little more than I liked. After getting past the first third or so, I loved the flavor, but that first segment where the cedar had been was a little hard to take. I've got a couple non-Cedros versions of the My Father waiting for me in my humidor; I'm hoping they are more like the 2nd and last third of the Cedros Deluxe.
