So me and the wife went to Chattanooga to get away for a weekend and I decide I wanted to see if they had a good cigar shop. I pulled out the phone book and found this one but I really did not want to drive all the way accross town for a cigarette store that had 4 or 5 boxes of cigars. An older man named Charlie answered and said that he felt I would be happy with their selection. So we go and pull up to this place, which is connected to a huge club/pool hall type thing. Go in and they have 2 huge humidors that are probably around 15x20 each. They have got a great selection and Charlie was very fun to talk to. He is about 65-70 years old but is one of those guys that can just tell a story and have the full attention of everyone. So I bought a box of the Patel 92's (i think thats what they were called) and what was so cool is as we sat in one of the 4 old reclining barber chairs in front of the big screen, Old Charlie asked if I wanted anything to eat or drink, So I orders a sandwich and a brew and one of the waitress form the club brought it right over. Very Very fun place has lots of events and private areas and great people in shop. If any of you guys are ever in Chatt-town you oughtta check it out. I understand that this site is based more on local shops and I like that but if you are ever passing through trust me. Just my opinion, (my god, this is a long post, if you made it this far I should buys a cigar for you, for reading this long azz post)

They also have a downtown location that is smaller but very nice and comfortable. The downtown location is an AVO signature lounge. The beer prices are very good ($2 pints the night I was there). They also have a very sleek selection of tip-top shelf liquors.

My favorite attribute of the shop is its VW Bug painted like a Cohiba label. If you are staying in the downtown area, just call; they will come pick you up. Or, if you are there on the night that they have the $2 pints, the Cohiba bug can take you back to your hotel.

My name is Jason and I work at Burns Tobacconist. Charlie is an awesome guy and I think we have one of the best shops around. It's always nice to have guys coming from other areas and checking us out. I hope I can make it out to Nashville some time soon and check out a few of the local shops there. Sort of hard for me since I work every Saturday at Burns all day long...lol.

You aren't starting off well Stogie. Next time you should PM Jason so Matt(graftonbulldogs) can't see. But hey, I would still let you cover for me any day!

LMAO @ Jacob...it's all good. We should just shut it down one Saturday and take a road trip to Nashville.
