I must say I really enjoyed this cigar. I elected to try the 5x50 Robusto as I find I'm becoming more partial to Robustos & Coronas. The cigar was med/medfull in body and very smooth and creamy with leather, spice and bits of white pepper in the flavor profile. The burn was spot on throughout. I burned it to the nub and was sorry the experiance was over. I would/will buy this cigar again.

I've found I have been sticking to smaller cigars as well. Will have to try this one, do you know who carries this one locally?

Why pay $100 on a therapy session when you can spend $25 on a cigar? Raul Julia

I don't know Frank. I picked that one up on vacation and it was resting until yesterday. I would also like to know if there is a local shop that carries them. Maybe Charlie can chime in. I believe he enjoys these also.

Locally, I get them at Smoke&Ale or Old Havana. Otherwise I use my NH connections.

The first ones out, named Hammer and Sickle, in the crystal glass case are made at the Davidoff factory.
The Cigar Agency, home based in my home town of Nashua, NH is run by Victor Vitale, which distributes and also handles the Ortsac cigar.
According to their website the Hammer & Sickle has a light medium-body flavor with an aged 5 year Connecticut wrapper and filler that has been aged for 3 years. The Hammer & Sickle is hand made in Santiago, Dominican Republic and is extremely smooth with hints of pepper while coating the palate with a creamy richness.
Wrapper: Connecticut
Binder: Dominican
Filler: Dominican
Strength: Mild/Medium

If you want to experience great CT tobacco do not pass these up!

There are/is new ones in the pipeline. The Berlin Wall and Moscow City.
The later two being of very limited (boutique) production and made at other factories. I think Camacho is one of them.
